Bernie Block Wellspring Wellness Center is located t 927 S 3rd Street. 

This new Center is an asset to Louisville as it provides access to health and housing resources for hundreds of local residents with serious mental illnesses.


Neighborhood Association Meetings

President David James had the opportunity to sit in on the West St. Catherine and Ouerbacker Court neighborhood association meetings this past week. He gave updates on things going on around the area and answered questions.

National Suicide Prevention Week 2018

.

The rise in suicide is an alarming public health issue.  But also an issue we each can take action to address.  

There were more than 80 free trainings on a proven suicide prevention technique offered around our city this week, National Suicide Prevention Week -- including one at the Old Louisville visitor's Center.  The training, called Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR), helps participants learn the myths about suicide as well as warning signs and includes how to give someone hope and help.
