David James Back to School Drive

..

This week Metro Council President David James delivered school supplies to 7 schools in district 6. A huge THANK YOU to Walmart, Kosair, Old Louisville Tavern and Finish Line Staffing for all of your donations and fundraising efforts, and to First Gethsemane Baptist Church for volunteering your time and efforts to make sure each school received their supplies!

California/Victory Park Neighborhood Plan

.

Councilman David James (D-6) has initiated the process of developing a new neighborhood plan for the California/Victory Park neighborhood. The project will be managed by Louisville Metro Government's Office of Advanced Planning and a team of local planning/neighborhood advocacy consultants with a history of working in the neighborhood. The plan boundaries are Broadway to the north, Oak Street to the south, 9th Street to the east, and 26th Street to the west. This $75,000 project was funded by the Office of Metro Council President David James (D-6) and the Office of Advanced Planning.

Share Your Voice!

By choosing to participate in the neighborhood planning process, California and Victory Park residents and stakeholders will have an active voice in creating the vision for the future.

We look forward to hearing from you! Click here to take our online survey.
