7TH ANNUAL SPRINGFEST

MAY 19, 2018

With nearly 10,000 visitors, tons of vendors, food trucks and artists, our neighborhood is brimming with excitement! Rain or shine please join us on Saturday May 19th in Toonerville Trolley Park, near the corner of Brook & Oak Street in Historic Old Louisville. Springfest is Old Louisville's biggest springtime festival and neighborhood market, and is always FREE and open to the general public. Springfest kicks off at 10 AM and rocks, eats, and shops until 9 PM!

BLOCKS OF ARTISTS AND VENDORS

Nearly 100 local vendors, non-profits, and food trucks will be on hand selling their wares and services...unique local art, hard to find antiques, vintage and contemporary clothing, handmade jewelry, and artisanal food.

New Location: Toonerville Trolley Park

Springfest 2018 showcases Toonerville Trolley Park (1215 S Brook Street) and Fort George (1260 S Floyd Street), combining both a public city park and private greenspace bounded by Oak Street to the North, Brook & Floyd Streets to the East and West, and Ormsby Avenue to the South. Toonerville Trolley Park has been lovingly restored over the last 7 years by local Toonerville residents in partnership with Metro Louisville Parks and Councilman David James. Toonerville Park now features brand new playground equipment, Louisville's only urban dog run, and is adjacent to the Brook Street community garden.

Central Park Clean-Up May 19th

central

Join us this Saturday, May 19th, at 8:30am for the re-scheduled community clean-up of Central Park.

“With Derby behind us and the long range forecast at hand, it looks like the weather is going to cooperate for our cleanup this weekend,” says President David James. “So I would like to put out the call for volunteers to come and join us this Saturday and help us keep Central Park the great neighborhood park that it is for the community.”

Volunteers can come to Central Park and gather at the Old Louisville Neighborhood Office near the center of the Park. The cleanup will get underway at 8:30am. We hope to see you and your neighbors there.
