Many thanks to the volunteers who keep South Louisville Community Ministries running smoothly.  Volunteers deliver meals, sort groceries, help intake information, assist with events and some even share their knowledge and teach classes.  SLCM honored their volunteers this week.  Councilwoman Butler is pictured with the Executive Director, Yvette Livers.

Many thanks to the Louisville Metro Corrections recruit class, training staff, Admin Staff, officers and family members who joined Councilwoman Butler on a snowy, blustery afternoon to pick up litter in District 15 as part of Give-a-Day week.  They cleaned the expressway ramps and a few alleys in the Jacobs neighborhood.

The 95-gallon and 65-gallon recycling carts are available for District 15 residents for only $25 -- this is a 50% discount off the cost.
