YMCA Safe Place is holding a "Together 4 Teen Tour". This tour
showcases our community's only 24-hour shelter for homeless & runaway
teens and other programs focused on young people in crisis! A lite lunch will
be provided. |
Louisville Metro Council Health and Education Committee invite the
community to attend one of two town hall meetings on the topic of legalizing
the use of marijuana for medical purposes. Each town hall meeting will be
held in a different part of the community, with the next town hall
Monday, February 26 at 6:00pm. Each town hall will start with presentations by
panelists both in support and opposition to a resolution calling for the
legalization of medical marijuana which is currently being considered by the
Louisville Metro Council. Persons attending the town hall meeting will have the
opportunity to ask questions of panelists following opening remarks. Each town
hall is expected to last 60-90 minutes and comments received during each event
will be given to all members of the Louisville Metro Council.

is accepting applications through March 30th or until available funds have
been expended, whichever comes first. This year’s Crisis Program features
expanded eligibility for past due amounts in addition to those that have
received a disconnect notice. Residents wishing to apply must make an
appointment utilizing the automated appointment system. Schedule

toll-free service is available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
