Dear Neighbor,
As we approach September with school starting and many festivals and events in the near future a lot is going on in our city and the 26th Metro Council District. A few events and opportunities are below, and I hope you and your family take advantage of some of them.
We did have an unfortunate act in our neighborhood last night. As some of you have seen, the mural on the underpass of I-264 was vandalized by graffiti. Our office has been working today with Public Works, the Bon Air Neighborhood Assocation, and others committed to repairing this public artwork. While there is no specific timeline established yet, our goal is a speedy fix within the next week to this point of pride in our community.
Let my office know if you ever have questions or concerns by calling (502) 574-1126. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
Brent Ackerson 26th District Councilman
