Please take extra time and caution as school starts Wednesday

You may have noticed Jefferson County Public Schools school buses doing practice runs, as JCPS and many private schools start up again next week. 

Please remember, especially with all the construction underway in our district, to allow extra time to get to work or school and to use extra caution as students will be waiting for those buses.

Neighbors, community leaders and other concerned citizens met to discuss a proposed Alcoholic Beverage License application for 1036 Goss Avenue Wednesday evening. 


At left, Metro Council District 4 Councilwoman Barbara Sexton Smith and Councilman Mulvihill discussed the application.
