    Metro Council July 4th Holiday

    The District 13 offices will be Closed for the 4th of July Holiday as follows:

    • Closed Monday July 3 -City Hall Office &  Fairdale Office
    • Closed Tuesday July 4 - City Hall Office, 601 W. Jefferson St. 

    The Louisville Metro Council is currently on a two week summer break. The Council will resume its regular meeting schedule the week of July 10th.  

    Check with your private haulers for their garbage, recycling and yard waste 4th of July holiday collection schedules.

    Farmer's Lane Closure Beginning July 5


    Contractors will be closing Farmers Lane next Wednesday, July 5th, at the creek as shown on the map below.  The road will be closed to through traffic but available only to residents.  All residents will be able to access their homes either from Fairdale Road or National Turnpike.  

    Proper signage will be up in advance and the road is scheduled to reopen prior to start of JCPS on August 16th.
