 You may be aware of the recent settlements against Western Union
for its violation of anti-money laundering laws and its failure to stop
fraudulent wire transfers. Included in these settlements is a $586
million dollar restitution program for consumers who sent scammed funds via
Western Union anytime from January 1, 2004 through January 17, 2017. The
Attorney General’s Office believes that consumers may be able to recover some
funds that they sent via Western Union. Given the nature of the scams, it
is likely that many of these consumers were seniors.
The Attorney General’s Office is attempting to get as many
eligible Kentuckians as possible to submit claims to Western Union for possible
restitution.

the Amphitheater" series this summer. Enjoy a concert by future
orchestra stars, performing light classics and favorite popular music of today
and yesterday as the Iroquois Amphitheater presents the "Louisville Youth
Orchestra" on Sunday April 30th at 4:00 p.m.
There will be four concerts featuring one of Louisville's
orchestras.
The Sunday April 30 concert of the Louisville Youth Orchestra is free with a
