There has been a change in ownership application for an NQ Malt Beverage Package license at the business located at 4129 Flintlock Drive. KRS 243.360 requires the applicant to first advertise their intention to apply for an alcoholic beverage license in the newspaper. The ad ran in the Courier-Journal on Friday, October 28, 2016.
Any person, association, corporation, or body politic may protest the granting of the license by writing the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control, 1003 Twilight Trail, Frankfort, KY, 40601-8400, within 30 days of the date of the legal publication.
Some of the reasons for refusal of a license as stated in KRS 243.450 are:
- Premise does not comply fully with all alcoholic beverage control statutes and regulations of the board.
- The applicant or premises does not comply with all regulations of a city administrator.
- The application has done an act for which a revocation of license would be authorized.
- The applicant has made any false material statement in his application.
- Other factors include public sentiment in the area, number of licensed outlets in the area, potential for future growth, type of area involved, type of transportation available and financial potential of the area.

Metro Parks and Recreation will keep the road to the top of Iroquois Park
open to vehicle traffic through the end of 2016. Typically the gate at Uppill Road that allows vehicles to pass to the top is
open Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays, but
officials considered the demand to see the newly renovated North
Overlook along with the warm, dry weather that’s taken place during
the fall in making the decision.
Director Seve Ghose said the gate will be open, weather permitting, and the
hours for 2017 will be discussed in the coming months as officials evaluate
road wear and tear and safety from the additional traffic. The gate to the top
of the road will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesdays, Saturdays and
Sundays through Sunday, January 1, 2017.
