 After years of planning and months of work, the revamped and
freshly-completed North Overlook project in South Louisville’s Iroquois Park
was unveiled to the public today by a group that included Mayor Greg Fischer,
Councilwoman Marianne Butler and officials from Metro Parks and Recreation and
the Louisville Olmsted Parks Conservancy. Park users, neighbors and future generations will benefit and appreciate this view for years to come said Councilwoman Butler. The opening of this serene and scenic overlook is a testament to the dedication of the employees at Metro Parks and the Olmsted Conservancy.

 Ministries United for South Central Louisville has experience a setback in their ability to help families. The air conditioning in the food pantry malfunctioned and they lost food that was to go to families in crisis. While this issued is being resolved, they are in need of non-perishable food items. If you can help, they are located at 1207 Hart Ave and open Monday-Friday.
