To the Adjoining Property Owners, Neighborhood Group Representatives,
Mr. Frank Sellinger owns the property located at 500 Lilly Avenue.
He plans to submit a development proposal to request a Zoning Change from R-6
to OR-1. The request is a zoning change, however, in layman’s term; Mr.
Sellinger wants to use the residential property to conduct a professional
office known as his families land surveying business. In accordance with the
procedures of Louisville Metro Planning and Design Services, we have been
directed to invite you to discuss this proposal before an application can be
filed. This will be an informal meeting to give you the opportunity to review
the proposed plan and discuss the proposal with the developer and or his
representative. This meeting will be held in addition to the established public
meeting procedures of the Planning Commission and or the Board of Zoning
Adjustments. At this meeting, the developer and or representative will explain
the proposal and then discuss any concerns you have. We encourage you to attend
this meeting and to share your thoughts.

designed to keep students’ minds and bodies active during the summer break. The programs complement the hundreds of camps and enrichment activities
organized by non-profit organizations, local colleges and universities,
museums, churches, libraries and arts organizations.
To help families sort through the many summer offerings a new searchable database of quality Out of School Time (OST)

 We
sometimes hear from property owners who are confused about who is responsible
for maintaining alleys adjacent to their properties. As outlined in the
ordinance 156.051, the Jefferson County Attorney’s Office says, property owners
must maintain the condition of their property line and alley ways (to the
center line of such alley as are adjacent to or abut the
premises) in a clean and safe way. That includes making sure that
weeds and other plant growth do not exceed a height of 10 inches. Anyone found
to not maintain their property accordingly, could face a $100 fine. If you
know of a property owner who is in violation of keeping the alley way
maintained please contact Metro Call at 311.

city’s 10-year Solid Waste Master Plan by taking a 5-minute confidential online
survey. The survey seeks information about how citizens handle waste and what
they pay to dispose of it.
Development of the
10-year Solid Waste Master Plan got underway last fall. The plan is focused on
Mayor Greg Fischer’s goal of diverting 90 percent of the community’s solid
waste away from landfills by the year 2042. Click here to
