Dec. 10, 2024, 4:30 – 5:30 p.m., McConnell Springs Park
Kids 7 – 13 are invited to participate in the Nature Olympics at McConnell Springs! We will learn and play the hour away. This program will take place in a grass-mowed area with slightly uneven ground. Participants are encouraged to dress to be active and outside for the duration of this outdoor program. Free registration for the Nature Olympics is required.
Dec. 31, 2024, 5 p.m. – Midnight, Central Bank Center
New Year’s Eve at Central Bank Center, presented by Maker’s Mark, will kick off Lexington’s year-long 250th anniversary celebration with a celebration for people of all ages. The event will start at 5 p.m. and continue to 8 p.m. in the main exhibition halls on the second floor of Central Bank Center. Beginning at 9 p.m., there will be live music on the Vine Street concourse outside Central Bank Center. Onsite food trucks, outdoor bars, and a special countdown to midnight will make for a festive experience for all.
