NOTICE
Occupational Safety and Health Standards Board
Public Hearing
Pursuant to Kentucky Revised Statute 338.051 and 803 Kentucky Administrative Regulation (KAR) 2:010, notice is hereby given. The Kentucky Occupational Safety and Health Standards Board, hereinafter referred to as Board, will meet Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. EST. The meeting will be conducted by live videoconference (ZOOM) pursuant to Senate Bill 150, Section 1, subparagraph (8)(b) of the 2020 Regular Session and the continuing state of emergency. Public access will be available at:
The Board will consider 803 KAR 2:402, General Safety and Health Provisions; 803 KAR 2:411, Scaffolds; 803 KAR 2:419, Demolition; and 803 KAR 2:445, Confined Spaces in Construction. The Board will receive updates regarding the OSH Program and regulations promulgated since the previous Board meeting. In addition, any standard, rule, or regulation published in the Federal Register after notice of this hearing may be addressed.
Any interested person may appear at the hearing to offer testimony or evidence if, at the opening of the hearing, or at an earlier time as the chairperson directs, the person files with the chairperson a notice of appearance which sets forth the:
(a) Name and address of person appearing;
(b) Name and address of person represented, if any; and
(c) Approximate length of time for presentation.
Prior to the meeting, interested persons may submit the aforementioned information, or written comment, to the Kentucky Labor Cabinet, Office of OSH Federal-State Coordinator, Mayo-Underwood Building, 3rd Floor, 500 Mero Street, Frankfort, KY 40601.
