Notice of Vacancy Administrative Law Judge Kentucky Department of Workers’ Claims
The Workers’ Compensation Nominating Committee is now accepting applications to fill a vacant Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) position in the Kentucky Department of Workers’ Claims for a term expiring July 14, 2024. This is a full-time position and appointees shall not hold any other public office or maintain any private practice.
Pursuant to KRS 342.230(2), an applicant must be a licensed attorney with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the Commonwealth in the practice of workers’ compensation law or a related field and have extensive knowledge of workers’ compensation law. The salary to be paid is that of a Circuit Court Judge.
Applications shall include a cover letter, current resume and a completed Application Supplement. Applications shall be submitted via email to norah.higgins@ky.gov and must be received on or before noon (EST) Wednesday, April 21, 2021.
