You have recently applied for unemployment insurance benefits based on information provided by the Office of Unemployment Insurance to the Cabinet for Health and Family Services (CHFS). There are assistance programs offered by CHFS for which you and your household may be eligible.
If you need healthcare coverage, you may be eligible for Medicaid or COVID- 19 Time-Limited Coverage. Please access kynect.ky.gov to apply online or call 855-459-6328 to complete an application. For kynect, go to the bottom of the page for health coverage options.
If you need food assistance, you may be eligible for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). Please access kynect.ky.gov or call 1-855-306-8959 to complete an application. For kynect, go the bottom of the page for benefits options that include SNAP.
This is not a scam, the kynect link is a Kentucky government (ky.gov) website which is supported by the Commonwealth. Only Kentucky state agencies have a ky.gov website. CHFS has worked to extend and expand all of our assistance programs during the COVID-19 State of Emergency to fill the needs of all Kentuckians affected.
