You have recently applied for unemployment insurance benefits based on information provided by the Office of Unemployment Insurance to the Cabinet for Health and Family Services (CHFS). There are assistance programs offered by CHFS for which you and your household may be eligible.
If you need food assistance, you may be eligible for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). Please access www.Benefind.ky.gov or call 855-306-8959 (Monday thru Friday from 8AM to 5PM EST) to complete an application. For Benefind, click the green “Let’s Get Started” button near the top of the page to begin the SNAP application.
If you need healthcare coverage, you may be eligible for COVID-19 Special Healthcare Coverage. Please access www.Benefind.ky.gov to apply online or call 833-656-0707 (Monday thru Friday from 8AM to 3PM EST) to complete an application. For Benefind, the COVID-19 Special Healthcare Coverage application is on the left side under “Assistance Programs.” If you have already completed a Medicaid application for COVID-19 Special Healthcare Coverage you can disregard this message.
This is not a scam, the Benefind link is a Kentucky government (ky.gov) website which is supported by the Commonwealth. Only Kentucky state agencies have a ky.gov website. CHFS has worked to extend and expand all of our assistance programs during the COVID-19 State of Emergency to fill the needs of all Kentuckians affected. Please take advantage of these services that will support you and your family.
