Workday Reminders
Workday is a critical system for our organization, allowing us as employees to manage our own data and improving accountability on many processes across our organization. Please check out these important reminders:
Return to Work from Leave of Absence
Be sure to take action in Workday for all employees who are returning to work from a leave of absence. If a return to work is not documented in Workday, then the employee’s hours worked upon return cannot be recorded in Workday for payroll. Employees – please be sure to submit your request to return from a voluntary leave of absence in Workday using the Absence app. Managers and HR Liaisons – complete the Return Worker from Leave task in Workday within the first day or so of the employee’s return from an involuntary leave of absence. For step-by-step instructions on how complete the return-to-work actions in Workday, please see the job aids located in the Workday Drive.
New Hires: Check Your Inbox
If you are a new employee to the UG hired in 2024, please check your Workday inbox to ensure that all your onboarding tasks have been completed. There are nearly 400 outstanding onboarding tasks that are awaiting employee action!
Your Benefits: Open Enrollment is Coming Soon!
Open Enrollment is fast approaching! Please plan ahead by making sure you can login to Workday with your UG password. Workday is a single sign-on platform, which means your Workday password is your UG password. If you need a UG password reset, please submit an IT help desk ticket (not a Workday help ticket).
