Affiliation Changes and Current Email Addresses
Interesting in changing an active license to inactive? Login to E-Gov and select Affiliation Change to remove existing affiliations and change a license status. A licensee cannot perform activities requiring a Kansas real estate license while on inactive status (this includes receiving compensation for referrals). An inactive licensee must renew a license prior to the license expiration date.
To receive renewal reminders and other important information, ensure a current email address is on file. Login to E-Gov and select Name/Contact Info Change to update an email address.
As a reminder, the Kansas Real Estate Commission (KREC) and the Kansas Association of REALTORS® (KAR) are two separate entities. KREC and KAR do not share a database. A licensee who is also a REALTOR® should report contact information and status changes to both KREC and KAR.
