Sand Creek Station Golf Course is excited to host the NJCAA Men's Division 1 National Championship May 13-16. There will be over 120 players vying for the title, with local college Hutchinson Community College playing to win the Championship. This is a great opportunity to show off our amazing course and community!

Welcoming Them to the Community
We will be working to put together welcome packets for the players and coaches. As part of that packet if your restaurant or business would like to offer a special or promotion for those in town for the tournament please email jlehman@newtonkansas.com. We will be putting together dining, shopping, and activity guides based off of the responses we receive.
The Kansas Department of Commerce, Network Kansas, K-State, and Thrive Kansas are partnering together for the first ever Connecting Entrepreneurial Communities: A Great Place to Land! This conference will be promoting small communities while highlighting people, businesses, and best practices for creating an entrepreneurial mindset.
The conference will take place in Kingman on June 26-27. The cost is $175 to attend but there is a discount for entrepreneurs making registration $100. They are working to bring together individuals from various sectors to foster an environment that nurtures entrepreneurship and community economic development.

- Dynamic, embedded sessions held within local businesses and venues across a four block radius in downtown Kingman
- Tools, strategies, and connections to grow your business, enhance your marketing, and confidently navigate legal requirements
