Areas in orange indicate new no-parking areas
At Tuesday night’s meeting, the City Commission approved new no-parking areas around Ardent Mills flour mill on Pine and East Seventh Streets.
Ardent Mills recently moved one of its scales to the north side of the mill on Seventh Street, which has altered traffic patterns of trucks accessing the site. City staff met with Ardent Mills staff, and they agreed parking changes were needed for visibility and safety.
The changes eliminate parking on Pine between Broadway and Seventh and on the south side of Seventh Street from Pine to 165 feet east and from Walnut to the railroad crossing. No Parking signage will be installed after publication of the ordinance.
