Officer-involved shooting in Osage County
OSAGE COUNTY – The Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) has responded to an officer-involved shooting where multiple law enforcement officers were shot.
The incident occurred around 10:30 a.m., at a residence north of 113th Street and S Topeka Boulevard in Osage County. The injured officers include three Osage County Sheriff's deputies and one Kansas Highway Patrol trooper.
The KBI wants to emphasize there is no active threat to the public at this time.
Interested media should stage at the Carbondale City Library at 302 Main St, Carbondale, KS 66414. Responding law enforcement will be available for a press briefing at 2:15 p.m. at the library.
