- To receive your benefit payment for the week of Nov. 3-9, 2024, file your weekly certification during the following time period:
Nov. 10 at Noon through Nov. 13 at 5 p.m. Nov. 19 at 8 a.m. through Nov. 23 at 11:59 p.m.
Note: If you do not file by the Nov. 23 deadline, your claim may become inactive, and you’ll need to submit a new claim to re-open it.
What You Need to Know
-
Create a new account: On Nov. 19, you must create a new account with a username and password.
-
Updated web address: The getkansasbenefits.gov site will be updated to KansasUI.gov. A redirect will be in place and automatically send you to the new site.
-
Weekly work searches: Starting November 19, you'll need to maintain a record of your job search activities each week. You may be asked to report these activities when you submit your weekly certification.
Although we aim to make the process as easy as possible, active claimants filing during the switchover may experience a brief delay in payment.
Stay Informed!
You will receive more instructions and information about the new UI system over the next two weeks. To find the latest information visit, dol.ks.gov/UITE-Claimant.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this transition. We are excited about the improved functionality and features of the new UI system and look forward to serving you better.
Sincerely,
The Kansas Department of Labor
