North Dakota State University’s (NDSU) Center for Immunization Research and Education developed an excellent 1-page resource for vaccine providers on Vaccine Ingredients. This quick reference guide helps healthcare professionals answer questions about vaccine ingredients, while addressing common misconceptions and myths with evidence-based information.
Vaccine misinformation continues to circulate, but by utilizing trusted, science-based resources, providers can engage in meaningful conversations with patients. Vaccine Ingredients 508 is a practical tool to help providers educate patients about vaccine ingredients, explain how they work in the body, and build confidence through accurate, reliable information.
Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination plays an important part in the prevention of multiple cancers. The North Dakota State University (NDSU) Center for Immunization Research and Education is hosting a webinar titled “The Latest Updates on Human Papillomavirus or HPV Vaccination in the United States.”
Dr. Robert Jacobson from Mayo Clinic will discuss the latest research on HPV vaccination in the United States, evidence-based approaches to strengthen vaccine recommendations, and key strategies to support higher vaccination rates.

Did you miss Immunize Kansas Coalition’s (IKC) two webinars for healthcare providers on June 30th: Preventing Severe RSV Disease in Infants and Reducing Vaccination Pain and Anxiety in Children?
Enduring materials are now available on their webinar webpage, including recordings, slide decks, and continuing education information. A new handout is also available for healthcare providers and public health professionals to share with parents and caregivers about the importance of preventing RSV disease in infants. The coalition invites immunization providers to utilize the webinar slide decks during training opportunities with their clinical teams and staff to support vaccination efforts and increase immunization uptake.
World Hepatitis Day is a reminder that viral hepatitis can affect anyone, but it is preventable, treatable, and in many cases curable. Take time to learn your risk, get tested if recommended, stay up to date on hepatitis A and B vaccinations, and help raise awareness. Early detection saves lives and plays a vital role in preventing liver disease and liver cancer. Together, we can take action to eliminate hepatitis as a public health threat.
