To help manage costs while continuing to support WIC families, certain foods will be removed from the Approved Product List (APL) effective May 5, 2025. These decisions are based solely on cost and availability and do not impact the nutritional value of WIC-approved foods.
Key Updates:

Organic eggs will no longer be an approved WIC item. Cage-free, free-range and specialty eggs will remain available to provide a variety of choices.
- The following natural peanut butter brands will be removed:
- Peanut Butter & Co
- Justin’s Classic Peanut Butter
- Adams Natural Peanut Butter
- Crazy Richard’s Natural Peanut Butter

Local Agencies: Please remind clients to check the WICShopper app banners and scan foods to confirm eligibility.

Vendors: Ensure compliance by downloading the latest APL daily to keep product listings accurate.
