The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced that the Bridge Access Program for COVID-19 vaccines will end August 2024, which is four months earlier than originally planned, due to a loss of federal funding. The program provides COVID-19 vaccines at no cost to adults 18 years or older who are uninsured or whose insurance plan does not cover COVID-19 vaccination.
People who are due for a COVID-19 vaccine and are eligible may still receive a COVID-19 vaccine until it ends in August.
For participating providers, visit the federal website.
