Notice to Kansas Certified Water and Wastewater Operators
We are excited to announce the launch of the new Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) operator database search, which is now live and available for your use. This website provides a publicly accessible solution for viewing essential operator information stored in the CertTracker database, making it easier for you and other stakeholders to access important certification details.
Key features of the KDHE operator database search:
- Training Hour Totals and Expiration Date: You can now easily check your total training hours for renewal and your certification expiration date on the public website. This feature will help you stay informed about your renewal requirements and plan accordingly.
- Training Attendance: The website displays the training courses you've attended during your current renewal period, allowing you to keep track of your completed training and identify any gaps.
- Operator Code and Certificate Code: Your unique operator code and certificate code are now visible on the public website. Please take note of these codes, as you will need them when registering or signing in for training to receive CEU credits for your attendance. This includes our upcoming Annual Water and Wastewater Operators School, scheduled for July 30 to August 1.
It is important to note that while the KDHE operator database search provides convenient access to your certification information, you will still need to use CertTracker to make changes to your personal information. In the future, CertTracker will also be required for renewing your certificates, applying for exams, and other functionalities.
Please be aware that the facility and county search results will continue to improve as the information in CertTracker is updated. Additionally, we are currently working on uploading recent training hours and reconciling previous training reports where attendee names did not match our records and could not be uploaded. We appreciate your patience as we work to ensure the accuracy and completeness of this data.
