In response to feedback received from stakeholders in the last week, this is an updated notification that agencies may pause implementation of the HCBS Waivers Settings Final Rule 101 training until further notice from KDADS on how to proceed.
KDADS has compiled comments for internal discussion and is seeking additional guidance from CMS on the requirement for the state to ensure Settings Final Rule compliance, safety, and well-being of all HCBS Settings.
The training is still available on the Kansas Train platform to help users increase their knowledge of HCBS Settings Final Rule requirements. Thank you to all who have been proactive in reviewing, completing, and providing feedback on the course.
