As a State of Kansas employee, you have the opportunity to purchase Long-Term Care (LTC) Insurance coverage, offered through LifeSecure.
What is long-term care? It’s a term used to describe services people need when they’re unable to care for themselves and require extensive medical assistance, including home health care, nursing home care or skilled facility care. Long-term care is different from medical care in that it provides assistance with basic tasks, sometimes referred to as Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as acts of personal hygiene, dressing, transferring to or from bed/chair, and eating.
You’ll soon be receiving a postcard in the mail along with email messages directing you to a webinar to learn more about this exciting offer.
