KCSO Investigating Fatal Motorcycle Crash
ALGOMA TOWNSHIP, Mich: On 5/25/2026 at approximately 6:30 PM, deputies responded to the area of Algoma Avenue south of 12 Mile Road for a report of a motorcycle crash. Initial investigation shows the motorcycle left the roadway for unknown reasons and struck the ditch, causing the rider to crash. The rider, a 60-year-old Rockford man, died at the scene. No other vehicles were involved.
The Kent County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
