Single Vehicle Fatal Crash Under Investigation in Caledonia Township
CALEDONIA TOWNSHIP, Mich: On March 2, 2026, at 7:24 p.m., deputies responded to a single-vehicle crash on westbound 84th Street west of Kraft Avenue.
Initial investigation shows the vehicle went off the roadway into trees and then rolled over. The driver was the only occupant and was ejected during the crash.
Witnesses immediately began CPR until personnel from the Caledonia Fire Department arrived and continued life-saving efforts. Despite those efforts, the driver, a 41-year-old man from Caledonia, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Kent County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Safety Unit is continuing to investigate. We appreciate the quick actions of the witnesses who stepped in and helped.
