KCSO Investigating Fatal, Single Car Crash
ADA TOWNSHIP, Mich: On November 1, 2025, at approximately 12:30 p.m., a Kent County Parks employee located a single-vehicle crash in the ditch along Pettis Avenue NE near Dogwood Avenue NE.
The driver and sole occupant, an 80-year-old male from Ada Township, was found deceased upon the arrival of first responders. The vehicle had left the roadway and crashed into the ditch.
The crash is believed to have occurred in the early morning hours or overnight, and speed is being considered as a factor. The Kent County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Safety Unit is continuing to investigate.
We extend our condolences to the family and friends of the man who lost his life in this crash.
