Kent County Invites Residents to the First-Ever North Community Fest - A Free, Family-Friendly Celebration in Cedar Springs
CEDAR SPRINGS, MI (August 11, 2025) - Kent County is excited to welcome residents to the North Community Fest on Thursday, August 14, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Kent County North Campus, located at 4191 17 Mile Road NE in Cedar Springs (between Advance Auto Parts and Taco Bell).
This first-of-its-kind event is a free, family-friendly celebration designed to bring the community together for a fun afternoon of food, activities, and the chance to get to know the wide range of services Kent County offers.
Highlights of the event include:
“This event is all about having fun, getting to know our North Campus, and bringing county government closer to the people we serve,” said Ben Greene, Chair of the Kent County Board of Commissioners. "We invite families, individuals, and neighbors from across the County to enjoy free festivities, food trucks, games, and more—while meeting our team and learning about the programs and services that support our community.
In addition to the fun activities, residents will have a valuable opportunity to connect directly with County staff and learn more about the many services available. Over 15 departments and offices will host Meet & Greet Tables to share helpful resources and answer questions, including:
