Kent County Sheriff’s Office Invites Community to National Night Out 2025
KENT COUNTY, Mich: The Kent County Sheriff's Office is excited to host National Night Out 2025 on Tuesday, August 5, from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM, at two locations in Kent County. This is a free event and open to all community members at both locations.
National Night Out is a nationwide campaign that promotes police and community relationships and neighborhood relationships to make our communities safer and more united.
Attendees can meet deputies, explore emergency vehicles, and enjoy live demonstrations from police, fire, EMS, the road commission, and military personnel. A helicopter demonstration, free giveaways, kids’ activities, and more will round out an evening designed to bring the community and public safety together.

We invite families and residents to join us for an evening filled with entertainment, education, and opportunities to build lasting relationships,” said Undersheriff Bryan Muir. “Several law enforcement agencies throughout Kent County host their own events, so if you cannot attend ours, please consider joining one closer to your neighborhood. Wherever you go, it is a great night to connect and build community.”
