Fatal Motorcycle Crash Under Investigation in Gaines Township
GAINES TOWNSHIP, Mich: On April 13, 2025, at approximately 5:22 p.m., deputies responded to a crash involving a motorcycle and a minivan on Kalamazoo Avenue SE, just north of 100th Street SE.
Both vehicles were traveling northbound on Kalamazoo Avenue when the crash occurred. The motorcyclist, a 26-year-old male from Allendale, died from his injuries. The driver of the minivan, a 41-year-old female from Caledonia, had minor injuries.
The Kent County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Safety Unit is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision. We extend our condolences to the family and friends impacted by this tragic incident.
