One Killed in Head-On Crash in Spencer Township
BYRON TOWNSHIP, Mich: On March 27, 2025, shortly after 3:00 p.m., deputies responded to a head-on crash near the intersection of Lincoln Lake Avenue NE and 19 Mile Road NE involving an SUV and a pickup truck.
The preliminary investigation shows that one of the vehicles crossed the center line and struck the other vehicle. One driver was pronounced deceased at the scene. The other driver sustained minor injuries. There were no passengers in either vehicle.
The Kent County Sheriff’s Office Traffic and Safety Unit is continuing to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
