Rockford Man Arrested for Soliciting Teens for Illicit Images
CEDAR SPRINGS, Mich: This afternoon, the KCSO arrested a 20-year-old Rockford man on charges of child sexually abusive activity and using a computer to commit a crime.
An investigation began after our Cedar Springs School Resource Officer was notified that the district's Auditorium Technician may be in possession of illicit images of their students. It was learned that he created fictitious social media accounts to contact female students in order to request and pay for illicit images. KCSO worked alongside the district throughout our investigation.
Upon the conclusion of our investigation, the Kent County Prosecutor's Office authorized the charges mentioned above.
