The official results of the November 5, 2024 General Election are available here. Available on our website is also a copy of the Official Election Summary Reportand Official Statement of Votes Cast Report. Kent County experienced a 71% voter turnout for this election.
Following each election the County Clerk conducts an independent post-election precinct procedural audit. Our office, in conjunction with the State Bureau of Elections, randomly draws a varying number of precincts in the County where we audit a precinct's absentee voter count board and election day process. This audit includes analyzing requirements around pre-election, election inspectors, e-pollbook, voting systems and testing, poll book, ballot containers, and applications to vote. For the November 5, 2024 General Election, there will also be a statewide ballot audit of one statewide race in conjunction with post-election precinct procedural audits. The State Bureau of Elections has yet to announce the precincts chosen for the audit. When this schedule is finalized it will be posted on our website here.
