14-Year-Old Arrested for False School Threat
GRAND RAPIDS TOWNSHIP, Mich: This morning, Forest Hills Northern High School received a threat over the phone. KCSO's School Resource Officers and Detectives responded to the threat and immediately began investigating. A suspect was quickly identified and interviewed resulting in a 14-year-old Forest Hills Northern student being placed in the custody of the Kent County Juvenile Detention Center for filing a false report of terrorism.
The investigation found that there is no threat to the school or its students.
KCSO takes threats made against schools seriously and continues our commitment to ensuring the safety and security of our schools.
