Suspicious Encounter for Three Children in Gaines Township
GAINES TOWNSHIP, Mich: Around 8:00 AM this morning, KCSO Deputies responded to the M-6 Trail near Division Ave and Eastern Ave after a man approached three young children as they were riding their bicycles to school, and asked them to go with him. The children, all under the age of 13, were able to get to a safe location to call us. This investigation is still developing and we will release more information as we gather it.
This encounter is not connected to the incident in Cascade Township that occurred a few days ago. There is is no a threat to the general public, but we want to keep our community informed.
