UPDATE: Tip Line Activated for Missing 17-Year-Old

As information is coming in, KCSO established via video that Penelope was in the Rockford area near the White Pine Trail about a week ago. Our detectives and patrol staff will be in the area looking for any new information. It does appear that she traveled from Cedar Springs to Rockford last week. We are now working on where she has gone since being in Rockford. We do not have information that any foul play has occurred at this time. We believe she intentionally walked away from home, but due to the length of time and no sightings KCSO and her family are concerned for her well-being. We are asking the community to please call the KCSO Investigative Division at 616-632-6125 or use the above tip line for any new information.

UPDATE (6/7/24 at 8:20am): Investigators obtained surveillance video from Rockford Park Drive on May 31, 2024 around 6:00 PM. This image shows Penny wearing a pink tank top and shorts. KCSO asks anyone with information to call our Detective Bureau at 616-632-6125 during business hours and our main line, 616-632-6100, after business hours.

CEDAR SPRINGS, Mich: On May 31, 2024 around 6:00 PM, Penelope "Penny" Wise left her family home on foot near Morley Park in Cedar Springs. Penny was last seen wearing a flannel shirt and jeans or shorts. Penny is 5 feet tall, weighs approximately 120 pounds, has blonde hair, and braces. Please call police if you know her whereabouts so she can be reunited with her family.
