WHAT: The Kent County Prosecutor will announce his charging decision on the death of Riley Doggett who was struck and killed by a Kent County Sheriff’s Office deputy patrol car.

WHY: On April 8, 2024, Riley Doggett was struck and killed by a Kent County Sheriff’s Office deputy patrol car while attempting to flee from the police. After reviewing the Michigan State Police investigative report, the Kent County Prosecutor has reached a decision in this case.
