Commissioner Sparks Presents Proclamation to Eagle Scout
Noah Jones, the proud son of Kent County employees Ronald and Sandra Jones, has not only achieved the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout but was also honored with a proclamation from the Board of Commissioners on January 6. Kent County Commissioner Monica Sparks recognized Noah's dedication, hard work, and leadership in this remarkable accomplishment. Since the age of 6, Noah has been diligently working towards the Eagle Scout rank, making his achievement all the more commendable.
Eagle Scout is the highest rank attainable in Boy Scouts of America. Since its inception in 1911, only four percent of Scouts have earned this rank after a lengthy review process. Requirements include earning at least 21 merit badges, 14 of which are mandatory for the award.
