Kent County to Host Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony and Open House for New Fleet Services Facility

WHAT: Kent County will host a ribbon cutting for the opening of its new Fleet Services building which will serve as a centralized hub for the maintenance and repair of more than 300 county vehicles.

WHY: Members of the media are invited to celebrate the opening of Kent County's state-of-the-art Fleet Services facility located on the County's Fuller campus in Grand Rapids, which boasts an impressive 13,170 square feet. The Board of Commissioners approved the construction of this facility, which cost approximately $4.4 million, in January 2020 to improve operations and maximize efficiency, ensuring that County vehicles are readily available to serve the community.
