Media Advisory: All Kent County Offices and Health Clinics Will Be Closed In Observance of Labor Day
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (September 1, 2023) – All Kent County Offices and Health Department clinics will be closed on Monday, September 4 in observance of Labor Day.
The Kent County Correctional Facility will remain open with regular hours; however, all other services will be closed.
All Department of Public Works services and facilities will be closed on Monday, September 4. Normal operations will resume on Tuesday, September 5 with additional hours scheduled for commercial haulers on Saturday, September 9. The Recycling Center will be open to commercial haulers on September 9, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Waste-To-Energy will be open to commercial haulers on September 9, 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
