KCSO Arrests Driver After Crash in Plainfield Township
PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich: Just before 10:00 PM last night, a vehicle was reported to be swerving all over the roadway along West River Dr near Buth Ave. Shortly after this report, the vehicle crashed into a utility pole and caused powerlines to fall causing a grass fire. The driver was extricated from the vehicle by first responders and treated and released at an area hospital. Drugs are a factor in the crash and the 43-year-old man from Plainfield Township was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated after being released from the hospital. The crash resulted in a power outage in the area during the overnight hours.
