Kent County Employee Referral Program
Kent County is inviting our current great employees to connect other great people to rewarding career opportunities. Research has shown, and our own experience supports, that new hires who come into an organization through employee referrals are excellent contributors and stay with the organization longer. The Kent County Employee Referral Program is designed to incentivize employees who successfully connect great people in their networks to Kent County employment opportunities.
Starting this month, Kent County will offer a referral incentive for certain vacancies that are deemed to be difficult to fill. For vacancies where a referral incentive is offered, the referring employee will receive a $750 incentive. To receive the incentive, the person referred must successfully maintain employment with the County for at least 6 months. Those vacancies where an incentive will apply will be identified in the weekly job announcement email sent to employees.
