The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP)
This program distributes United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) food to income eligible households in Kent County. The food is distributed quarterly through county wide distribution sites. Depending on what food items are available from the USDA, the distribution may consist of canned and frozen meat, canned vegetables, canned fruit, milk, cheese, peanut butter, pasta, and/or cereal.

Apartment Distribution Sites: This list includes community partners of The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) and offer mass distribution at various times of the year. If interested in participating in any of these food distributions, please call each site directly for more information about the site's distribution. Apartment sites are limited in the amount of food they are able to provide to the public.
Pantries: These sites are community partners of The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) and offer TEFAP items in their Pantry or Kitchen. Pantry and Kitchen sites may contain food from other programs with additional guidelines or program information needed. For changes in hours, days, and operations please contact the pantry or kitchen before going to the site directly.
Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP)
The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) works to improve the health of persons 60 years or older by supplementing their diets with nutritious United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) commodity foods. Eligible households receive a monthly distribution of food products, which may include cheese, milk, canned meat, plant-based protein, vegetables, fruits, grains, cereals and juices.
