The West Lafayette Downtown Plan was adopted by the West Lafayette City Council on March 2, 2020, by Resolution 02-20. Since then, the West Lafayette City Council approved a resolution to expand the study area to include the Oakwood Village Neighborhood, an area experiencing increased development interest.
A DRAFT amendment to the Downtown Plan has now been prepared, and the Area Plan Commission of Tippecanoe County is seeking public comment.
When: Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 4:30 p.m.
Where: Tippecanoe Room, Tippecanoe County Office Building
This is your opportunity to share feedback on the proposed amendment (which, in summary, provides future land use recommendations for the Oakwood Village Neighborhood while updating future land uses in the original study area in order to better cohesively blend the two areas) before it moves forward.
