Construction Updates and Road Closures
Dear West Lafayette Community,
We want to keep you updated about a number of upcoming construction projects happening in our area. These initiatives will involve temporary closures of roads, lanes, and sidewalks as well as some maintenance work, all designed to improve the functionality and appearance of our community.

Closure 1: South Salisbury Street & West State Street
- June 10-11, after 9:00 a.m. both days
- Closure of South Salisbury Street at the intersection with West State Street, along with the sidewalk in front of 117 West State Street
- Excavation and repair of damaged conduit
- Road to reopen at the end of each workday. Nearby apartments will remain accessible
Closure 2: Vine Street
- June 10-13, after 9:00 a.m.
- Full road closure on Vine Street between West Fowler Avenue and Wiggins Street
- Connection to new storm structures for the 4 Up development project at 353 Vine Street
Closure 3: Lane and Sidewalk (Water Line Repairs) by Case Construction
- June 10
- Sidewalk closure – 3843 Estella Drive
- Lane closure – 2205 McCormick Road
- June 11
- Lane closure – 1015 Vine Street
- Sidewalk closure – 311 West State Street
- June 12
- Lane closure – 1515 Aviation Drive
- June 13
- Sidewalk closure – 616 Robinson Street (Rain Date)
Case Construction will be removing and replacing temporary street patches at the affected locations. The purpose of the closures is to complete water line repair projects that began in the fall of 2024.
